On sale from 9th May 1936 to 31st May 1937 through the post and athletic organisations. Sold early in Halle a.s. from 5th May 1936.


The surtax on these stamps was supposed to be for the Olympic Games but actually was given to Hitler's Cultural Fund which donated towards the building of the stadiums.
