BERLIN cancellations as featured in the Bochmann catalogues (1952)
Note on JB: Berlin273/118. Cancellation '5/d' is a Rohrpost cancel that features the minutes following the date.
Note on JB:Berlin 371/131. This cancel was only used in conjunction with postage stamp Mi.812 issued to commemorate Heroe's Memorial Day.
Note on JB:Berlin376/132. There are two variations: designation letter 'a', which is small, thin and left-leaning (a-I), and designation letter 'a' which is large, thick and vertical (a-II).
Note: Whilst Bochmann lists two variations of 376 it is to be noted that the images depicting the man, woman and child are in fact different. The note regarding the 'a' identification letter does not emphasise that the font is not the same. This indicates that more than two design variations exist (unless this is variation Bochmann intended to catalogue).
