French POW postcard (complete with unattached reply card) sent from Stalag III-B in Fürstenberg to an address in France. At this time the camp held over 20,000 French POW's (as well as those from Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and the USA). Ref: 01.04.1943
Stalag III-B
Stalag III-B was open in December 1939 and was located in Fürstenberg/Oder until February 1945. It was then moved to Luckenwalde (Brandenberg) in February 1945 and in March/April 1945 to Stettin. It was liberated on 28th April 1945.
