'Feldpost' commercial cover sent from German freight forwarder Schenker & Co., Paris, to an unknown address. Featuring a 'Durch die deutsche FELDPOST' hand stamp to the front and censor tape (ref: HLXV1.1/327) in chamois to the reverse. German companies abroad (in the occupied territories) could also use the German field post, but at the postage rates that were then customary. This letter "through German field post" (hand stamped) is franked with 12 Pf. (Mi.788). Ref: 06.03.1943 - 10/55
