Italian POW letter-sheet sent from an unknown address via the P.W.I.B. to a destination at Intra, in Verbania, Italy. The hand stamp to the reverse flap indicates it is sent via the Prisoner of War Information Bureau in Washington, however, a censor has deleted a word on the bottom line, which now reads, '7th Army POW (deleted word) Project No.1'. Ref: 16.09.1943
